The Auto Router automatically selects the best model for your prompt based on complexity and task
requirements — no manual model selection needed. It's powered by NotDiamond's routing system.
When you send a request, the router analyzes your prompt, picks from a curated pool of models
(including Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, and others), forwards your request, and returns the
response. The model field in the response tells you which model was actually used.
You can also restrict which models the router picks from using wildcard patterns (e.g.,
anthropic/* for Anthropic models only), either per-request via the API or in your Plugin
Settings.
There's no additional fee for using the Auto Router — you just pay the standard rate for
whichever model is selected.
